Worldwide Earthquake born as a personal project, initially as a programming practice to learn about Google Maps API.


Considering that our country (Chile) is land of earthquakes, I thought that would be pertinent to have a web site that allow us to have a quick and simple way to visualize earthquake events on the map.


After a huge effort, we have been able to update our service, offering Map visualization, historic registry of USGS report and finally facebook integration, publishing on facebook wall of this web site.


I appreciate the patience and support that my fiancee had has with me since I started this endeavor, she allowed me taking part of our time to work in this thing.  To my friends which helped me doing testing and suggested me functional and cosmetic improvement.


Finally, and without intending to abuse, I have added button to receive donations, this aid will help us to maintain these sites on DreamHost. As you may imagine, the main source of financing comes directly from my pocket. So your help is always welcome.
